There’s a difference between passive suicidal thoughts and actively making a plan to hurt yourself. Do you feel like you might be a danger to yourself? Let’s make a safety plan. Can you do one of these things and report back to us?
Call a friend or family member and let them know how you’re feeling. It’s good to have some IRL support that can check in on you.
Call a crisis hotline. They are more trained with how to deal with active suicidal thoughts than we are.
Call your therapist if you have one.
Call 911 or ask someone to take you to the hospital (they will connect you with resources).
Make a plan to see a doctor to come up with a plan going forward for new medication, therapy, etc.
